What's your situation?

I'm a very experienced and skilled manager of sales professionals. I've managed sales teams before, but it's been awhile and I'm rusty. I've been successful in other roles, but I'm new to managing salespeople. I own the business and I'm the sales manager too, whether I like it or not. I'm about to hire or build a sales team and want to get it right.

What's going on with your team?

Results are inconsistent — big months, then nothing. A few people carry the team and the rest are coasting. New hires take too long to get productive. Closing is the problem: plenty of sits, not enough sales. Turnover keeps resetting us to zero. Honestly, things are good. I want them to be great.

What would be most helpful?

Just a chat with someone outside my business to get some guidance and insights on how to level-up my team. A trouble-shooting session to identify what's holding my team back. A sales talk or seminar to reinvigorate the team and give them actionable techniques. Coaching for my salespeople, one-on-one or as a group. Someone embedded with the team for a stretch to see what's really happening on the floor. Some fundamentals and pointers to get my managers going in the right direction.
